Experience the Excitement of Horse Racing at the Pleasanton Racecourse

The Pleasanton Racecourse is located at the Alameda County Fairgrounds in Alameda, California, and is renowned for its exciting horse racing events. This event typically lasts for 13 days and offers a wide range of concerts and activities for all ages. The proceeds from this event are used to provide scholarships for local students as well as international community projects from the Pleasanton Rotary Club. Well-behaved dogs are allowed to join in on the fun, as long as they start behind the pack at the starting line, wear a non-retractable leash and then be cleaned by their human.

Dogs attending should feel comfortable in the crowd and with other dogs. Photo identification is not required to pick up packages and you can pick them up for friends or family. All races will begin and end in front of Workbench Hardware, at 652 Main Street, in downtown Pleasanton. The Pleasanton Racecourse is still recognized as the birthplace of horse racing in California and it was common for the best horses in the country to head to Pleasanton to test the track's impressive floor. The races return with the fair, ready to begin with a full list of concerts and events, plus 13 days of horse racing.
